We are a part of ‘Jan-Shakti’ NGO, a non-profit, non-government organization which is engaged in different kinds of awareness programs for the ecology and environment, road-safety and traffic management, rural development & agro-marketing, education, consumer awareness and current law & order situation in the society. This NGO adopts all kind of genres for these awareness programs such as it hosts and arranges seminars, workshops and street plays; makes documentary & short films and publishes several magazines. This NGO publishes 4 magazines namely- ‘Hamara Bhumandal’ (a journal on environment & ecology), ‘Watchful Consumers’ (a journal on consumer awareness), ‘Road-Sense Today’ (a journal on road-safety and traffic management), ‘Police Pulse’ (a journal on Police Forces of India). In ‘Police Pulse’ magazine, we are publishing articles, reports, poems, general knowledge based information, updated news related to Police Forces of the country.
Policing is a noble profession. It is a job with serious responsibilities. Police force is a constituted body of persons empowered by the state to enforce the law, protect property and prevent civil disorder. However, do we acknowledge just how vital a role the police play in our daily lives? While we celebrate festivals, they are out manning the streets. While we enjoy cricket matches, they are guarding the stadium. They are out there, engaged in long, gruelling bandobasts, each time there is the smallest security threat. Police Pulse’ is a magazine on police in which we are incorporating the success stories and the achievements of those policemen who have solved the critical & mysterious matters of crime, terrorism, insurgency, drugs abuse & narcotics, fake currency rackets, smuggling, cyber crimes, cases of economic offenses, road-rages & traffic problems, security of the airports and major public sector establishments, community policing and other law & order related issues. The issues of health, training, housing & duty related problems of the police-people are being also highlighted.
